Orange Belt: 4th Black Stripe |
Student must satisfactorily perform Sparring Combinations.
Must also perform sparring combinations for belt advancement.
Sparring combinations:
Teach students to use proper blocking techniques against the attacks.
Teach students to use attacking techniques in combination against an opponent;
Since only one student attacks while the other blocks, students only have to think about one thing at a time, either blocking or attacking. This keeps students more relaxed and lets them concentrate on learning range, control, and putting techniques together in combinations.
To perform each combination sequence, one student attacks using the prescribed techniques while the other student moves backward and blocks. Then the other student attacks while the previous attacking student moves backward and blocks.
Full sparring equipment must be worn while performing sparring combinations.
