Uniforms

Taekwondo America students wear a white Taekwondo uniform (dobok). The jacket has an overlapping style and a belt that signifies the students rank is tied around the waist. The various accoutrements on the uniform signify:

Taekwondo America affiliation (patches)
School to which the student is a member (patch)
Black belt ranks (striping)
Student name (for black belt ranks)
Instructor status (patch)
Pride the student has in the uniform (clean and pressed)

Pants: 4th degree and above black belts also have a vertical stripe down the outside edge of each pant leg

Trainee Under Right Side TA Patch: "Trainee Instructor" patch Collar: 1/2" red stripe	Junior Certified Under Right Side TA Patch: "Junior Certified Instructor" patch Collar: 1/2" red stripe and 1/2" black stripe

Certified Under Right Side TA Patch: "Certified Instructor" patch Collar: 1/2" black stripe	Senior Certified Under Right Side TA Patch: "Senior Certified Instructor" patch Collar: 1" black stripe

All Instructors Under Center Patch: Embroidered "First and Last Name" "Winston-Salem, NC"
