Testimonial: When we moved to Winston Salem in 2006, I was looking for a physical activity fo my son, Connor to participate in. I had briefly taken Tae Kwon Do classes as a child and remember really enjoying it. I checked out several schools in the area prior to meeting Mr Deese. What struck me first was how friendly and how comfortable I felt speaking with a man I had just met. We had briefly tried other Kararte classes prior to our move but Connor wasn't happy. We came to the introductory class and Connor had a blast. He loved the class and Mr Deese and he other instuctor's teaching style reminded me so much of the classes I had enjoyed. He is firm yet gentle and entertaining all at the same time really engaging the kids. We signed up that day and Connor has been going ever since. He loves all his instuctors as they all teach the way Mr Deese does. Making it fun and engaging and their successes are celebrated. So far Connor has gone to 2 tournaments and brought home 3rd place medals both times...a feat he likes to share with everyone. His self confidence has improved as well as his focus and discipline. I get compliments all the time how polit he is but I admit I have to share the credit with Mr Deese and his instructors! Enrolling him at Mr Deese's Tae Kwon Do America was one ofthe best decisions I have ever made!

Testimonial: My son Nicholas and I have been training at Mr. Deese’s school for almost three years. Even now, I am constantly amazed and impressed by Mr. Deese’s professionalism, his obvious proficiency in TKD, his easy rapport with students, his no nonsense approach to discipline, his ability to encourage and inspire students to strive for success, his memory (he knows and greets every student and parent by name) and his sense of humor!
