Clinics are intense training sessions that concentrate on one or two aspects of Taekwondo training. Most times, clinics are instructed by high ranking black belts or by recognized specialists in the topics to be covered. Clinics may be held locally or regionally. Clinics may be held separately or as a part of a training camp, which is composed of several different clinics.
Technique Clinics: technique clinics are usually conducted on the night before rank promotion testings by a visiting black belt from another Taekwondo America school.
Tournament Preparation Clinics: two tournament preparation clinics are conducted during the last two weeks before a regional or national tournament:
Sparring Clinic: sparring clinic is devoted to sparring competition rules and procedures, scoring, and sparring strategy.
Patterns Clinic: patterns clinic is devoted to pattern competition rules and procedures, scoring, and pattern performance techniques.
Breaking Clinics: breaking clinics are periodically conducted to allow students to practice and refine their breaking techniques.
Martial Arts Clinics: martial arts clinics are periodically conducted to familiarize Taekwondo students with other martial arts, such as Judo or Karate.
Weeping Style Jujitsu Clinics: Weeping Style Jujitsu clinics are conducted annually at Snyder's Taekwondo America in High Point, NC to familiarize Taekwondo students with the martial art.
