Taekwondo America conducts training camps twice a year for students 8 years of age and above:

Camps are conducted in the North Carolina area as well as in other states. Some recent camps were at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC; at Camp Hanes in King, NC; in Marion, Alabama, and at Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN.

At camps, numerous clinics are conducted daily that concentrate on specific areas of training, such as patterns, self-defense, sparring, etc. Clinics are conducted by high ranking Taekwondo America black belts from all over the United States. Sometimes, black belts from other styles of martial arts conduct clinics to familiarize campers with other martial arts styles and with martial art weapons. Campers may attend as many of the clinics as they wish.

Numerous other activities are scheduled each day for fun and relaxation, such as Hoover ball, soccer, and soft ball. An informal competition is usually conducted on the last day of the camp. Also, there are always numerous activities offered by the facility at which the camp is conducted, such as rock climbing, swimming, and hiking.
